Annual Cement Production Capacity of Approximately 15.6 Million Tons
Hanil Cement’s cement products are recognized as being among the best in the industry in terms of quality and research and development. Through a fully automated smart production system, Hanil Cement produces Portland cement that meets KS standards. In cooperation with the Hanil Technical Research Institute, the company also researches and produces more differentiated cement products, including high-strength cement and low-heat cement.

Realization of technology integrated high quality
We exported cement based on high quality products for the first time in cement industry in 1964 and has contributed to create advanced construction site as realizing bulk cement release overcoming inconvenience of previous wrapped cement in 1970s. With this customer-oriented production & sales, we were selected as the top for ‘The Most Respected Company in Korea’ in cement industry by Korean Management Association for twenty-two consecutive years from 2004 to 2025 and as the top for ‘KS-QEI, Korean Standard-Quality Excellence Index’ for sixteen consecutive years since 2010.

Establishment of eco-friendly equipment for production
Especially, we have continued to study on establishment of eco-friendly equipment for production and products, and we successfully developed ‘low carbon cement for limestone reduction’ to reduce CO2 emission in 2013, which is the main cause of greenhouse gas. Also, we lead cement industry as eco-friendly company as we publish ‘Carbon Management Report’ for the first time in cement industry.
