Central Research LabEstablished in September 30, 1987, Central Research Lab was officially registered as the annexed research center of Hanil Cement by the Ministry of Science and Technology on November 14, 1988. R&D team in Danyang Plant was established on November 5, 1998 with branching off of the quality parts from the Production Planning Division. The current system was completed as it was moved and reorganized for expansion to Cement Research Center of Central Research Lab.

R&D team of Danyang PlantR&D Team of Danyang Plant is undergoing research operations of developing raw and subsidiary materials for cement, new product development and application of findings in cement manufacturing processes.

Central Research LabCentral Research Lab consists of Product Planning Team to support research activities and to establish mid to long-term R&D strategies and Construction Materials Team 1 & 2 to be in charge of new product development in the fields of secondary cement products, development of functional materials, study on industrialization of development results, study on onsite applicability, resource recycling and technological support to customers, etc.

R&BD (research & business development) innovation systemAlso, the Central Research Lab, while making connections among R&D, marketing and production (industrialization) departments to enhance the overall efficiency of related businesses by introducing R&BD (research & business development) innovation system to include business mind, is exerting its best efforts to serve the role as the future growth engine through ceaseless product feedback and technological support for customers.
