The Work Team, Sobaeksan, of the Danyang Factory’s Production Team Won the Grand Prize at the 34th Company Work Team Quality Circles Convention.

Last December 20th, a work team, Sobaeksan, from Danyang factory’s production team won the grand prize at the 34th Company Work Team Quality Circles Convention held in the Grand Hall of the Danyang factory. In the contest, in which 10 work teams participated, the work team from the machine team of the Danyang factory called “21st Century,” and the work team from the Yeoju factory, Hunminjeongeum, won excellence awards while the Danyang factory production team, Solmoe; the electricity team, Uri; and the work team from the Cheongju factory, Wangeomi, won participation awards.

That same day awards were given for proposed activities also. For the grand prize in the group section, Danyang factory’s machine team and Pohang factory received the honor, while Park Dae-gyu from Danyang factory’s production team and Jeong Jun-hee, a manager in Pohang factory’s manufacturing team, received the individual honors. Additionally, Lee Tae-sun, from Danyang factory’s production team, and Yoon Do-bin, from Incheon factory’s manufacturing team, received awards for providing the largest number of proposals.
