On November 14, the Korean Standards Association held an unveiling ceremony for the Korea Standard - Service Quality Index (KS-QEI) Hall of Fame for “Portland Cement” at the Hanil Cement headquarters. The Korean Standards Association selects Korean companies in the manufacturing and service industries that have achieved outstanding performance and quality and have been selected as a top company for KS-QEI for 10 consecutive years, and registers them to the Hall of Fame.

Hanil Cement has ranked No. 1 in KS-QEI for 10 consecutive years in the category of Portland cement, and all of its production sites acquired ISO 9001 in 2014 for the first time in the industry. Through the company-wide quality management system, the company has set “environment and quality” as the top business management priorities, leading the advancement of the Korean cement industry. President Jeon Geun-sik of Hanil Cement said, “We will not be complacent with the present, and shall continue our efforts to produce high-quality products and drive competition in the field of basic construction materials, which are directly linked to the safety of our citizens.”
