Hanil Cement has signed a life-sharing partnership agreement with the Korean Red Cross to help promote a culture of blood donation. The agreement was signed on November 20 at Hanil Cement’s headquarters.

The Life-Sharing Partnership is a program in which companies, public institutions, and schools partner with the Korean Red Cross to support its blood supply initiatives by participating in regular blood donation activities.

Under the agreement, Hanil Cement will hold blood donation events twice a year—once in the first half and once in the second half—starting in 2026 at its headquarters and major production sites, including Danyang and Yeongwol. The company also plans to actively encourage blood donation at its business sites nationwide at least twice a year. In particular, Hanil Cement has committed to ensuring practical conditions for participation, such as guaranteeing break time for employees to donate blood.

Even prior to the signing of the agreement, Hanil Cement has consistently participated in blood donation activities. The company established its volunteer group, WITH, in 2011, composed of employees and their family members, and has conducted blood donation campaigns twice a year since 2013. Through WITH, Hanil Cement has also engaged in various community service activities, including volunteer support for senior citizens living alone, meal service, and briquette delivery.

Hanil Cement stated, “Our employees have voluntarily participated in blood donation during critical periods, such as vacation seasons when the number of donors tends to decline, thereby contributing to stabilizing the blood supply. We will continue to expand life-sharing activities together with our employees and fulfill our corporate social responsibility.”
