Hail Cement Danyang Plant delivered scholarship funds to elementary and middle school students in Maepo-eup, Danyang-gun on November 27. The representatives from the production plant gave a total of 7 million Korean won in scholarship to seventeen Maepo Elementary School students and seven Maepo Middle School students.

Since 1995, Hanil Cement has been providing scholarships to model students who will lead the local community, in the hopes that the company and the community will grow together. Until 2016, the company gave 83 million Korean won to four hundred sixty students in total.
