Omega 2000

Omega 2000 of Hanil Cement was developed in 2000 as the first high-pressure steam curing product and the high-strength concrete mixing material in Korea.
Made with the main ingredient of inorganic materials, Omega 2000 displays good compatibility with cement-type materials. Also, it produces not only concrete development with high strength, but also outstanding effect to increase durability.
This mixing material can also be applied to designing of structures requiring durability in medium strength concrete products.

Compared to other mixing materials, the concrete using Omega 2000 can secure high liquidity even with a small amount of high-performance water reducing agent. Therefore, it enables economic designing of concrete mixing and manufacturing of high-performance concrete to satisfy the criteria of high strength, high durability and high liquidity.
As such, Omega 2000 can be widely used in various areas, such as building and engineering constructions of super high-rises, etc.

Special notes to use and features of high-pressure steam curing product and concrete using Omega 2000 have been listed to serve as a reference in mix design and construction.

Omega 2000 of Hanil Cement enables high-strength concrete manufacturing only with standard curing and high-pressure steam curing methods when 10~30% of the cement volume is replaced with it.
It has been applied for, thus obtained patent in Korea (registration No. 235385, Sep. 22, 1999).

Features

Increasing binding of C-S-H
Hydration is activated by generation of ettringate(3CaO·Al2O3·3CaSO4·32H2O). As a result, densification and high strength of materials are achieved to improve durability.

1. Enabling to manufacture ultra super strength concrete in short period
It enables to manufacture high strength concrete of standard curing method (400kgf/㎠ or more).
It enables to achieve strength level of 800kg/㎠ or more in 7 days through high-pressure steam curing method when manufacturing PHC piles.

2. Durability Improvement
It achieves significant improvement of freezing-thawing resistance.
It produces outstanding resistance against weathering.
It produces outstanding chemical resistance.
It produces outstanding resistance against seawater.

3. Stable Quality and Flexible Product Management
Manufactured in the latest facility, the product quality is evenly maintained, the design can be easily modified to suit customers' requirements and prompt reaction is possible.

4. Cost Reduction (PHC)
It does not require facility investment for autoclave curing when manufacturing PHC piles.
