Hanil Holdings and Hanil Cement held a memorandum of understanding (MOU) ceremony for the Hanil Green Sharing campaign on December 9 at their headquarters in Seocho-gu, Seoul, together with E-Cycle Governance and Goodwill Store operated by the Miral Welfare Foundation.

Hanil Green Sharing is an employee-driven campaign that originated from internal ideas, encouraging employees to voluntarily donate unused items from their homes and offices to promote resource circulation.

Through the campaign, which began in late October, a total of 676 items were collected, including 183 discarded electronic appliances and 493 pieces of clothing and household goods.

The collected electronic waste will be processed by E-Cycle Governance and recycled into new resources, while the donated clothing and household items will be sold through Goodwill Stores operated by the Miral Welfare Foundation.

Hanil Holdings and Hanil Cement stated, “This campaign goes beyond simple item donations, serving as a meaningful example of how small actions by employees can come together to create social value,” adding, “We will continue to carry out various initiatives to set an example of ESG management that creates positive change for both the environment and society.”
