Hanil Cement Volunteer Group ‘WITH’
(We Increase The 'Hope')Hanil Cement established the volunteer group ‘WITH’ to make and share happiness together in March, 2011. 'WITH' made up of employees and family members of the company regularly performs volunteer service at the Sujeong Senior Welfare Center every month. In this place, volunteers prepare food ingredients, support food distribution, and clean up the restaurant hoping that it would be of small help to the elderly who lives alone. Other than these, the volunteer group promotes various volunteer jobs like carrying briquettes or plating trees for green environment, etc. We hope that ‘WITH’ plants ‘hopes’ and those ‘hopes’ grow well to make plentiful ‘hope’.

Volunteers Association Bull
Danyang Plant Volunteers Association Bull shares their talent in many small villages in Danyang-gun on Saturday of the second week every month. In 2002, workers in machine team of Danyang Plant started to say ‘Let’s help somebody else.’ Then, they came up with fixing agricultural machines. They usually deal with heavy machines in the factory, so they thought about using their techniques for volunteering job. Since May, 2002, some of workers in machine team have gathered to start fixing agricultural machines. They felt difficulties at first because agricultural machines are different from machines they usually handle, but soon, they became familiar with them and now fix metal structures, water pipes and even boiler pipes. Volunteers Association Bull chose ‘Volunteers Association Bull’ as its name because they do volunteer work like a bull. Their hands stained with oil are the most beautiful in the world.

Fund of Love
About 300 employees of Danyang Plant collect little money less than 1000 won from their pay every month to donate to the community to help neighbors in need at the end of the year. This fund raising campaign called ‘Fund of Love’ started from 2002 and still has continued. Every employees voluntarily joins in this campaign hoping that even such little effort could help our neighbors.
